The company Crawford Keen & Company –therefore its acronym CKC– from USA set in Argentina in 1970, the same year when the sustained development of soy cultivation began.
At that time CKC was leader for incorporating into the agricultural market soy seeds type Hood, Hood-75, Forrest, Essex, Williams, Agripro, and Stuart. Together with the seeds they incorporated inoculants, being CKC pioneer in the commercialization, in Argentina, of this kind of nitrogen fixing bacterium, with the species Rhizobium sp and Bradyrhizobium sp.
